Vinci: The native country of Leonardo
Just 2 km far from our Agriturismo you can visit the small town of Vinci, hometown of Leonardo Da Vinci (1452-1519). The village of Vinci is located at the slopes of Montalbano mountain, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
In the old town it is worth to visit the museum dedicated to Leonardo (Museo Leonardiano) and the church of Santa Croce.
Another suggestive place to visit is the house where Leonardo Da Vinci was born. The house is only 200 meters from the Agriturismo and it is also a starting point of many hiking trails to the top of the Montalbano mountain.
